LCAF is a non-profit organization formed in July 2022 to help communities fight against child abuse and neglect within the schools of Lusaka and Western provinces.
Child abuse and neglect has led to high rate of mental health problems and so to protect the future generation its best to advocate now and strengthen the system in schools in order for the children to have a brighter future in communities. We have decided to fight against child abuse and neglect in schools by engaging support of research & training, empowerment skills, health and education programs.

Research and Awareness
We research, train and conduct sensitization in communities concerning child abuse and neglect. We deliver information concerning sexual reproductive health, child labour, gender based violence and any other factors that leads to mental health problems to the children in societies.
Health
We help children heal from life threatening situation like trauma, stress, depression, abuse and then offer them treatment by engaging trained personals. We use various therapies to treat children in order to build strength and restore hope among children.
Education
We help identified vulnerable children with school necessities like books, pens, shoes, bags, uniforms and extra lessons.
We also offer psychosocial education programs in schools by training students on various strategies over child abuse and neglect issues.
Livelihood Empowerment Skills
We train parents especially women, girls and boys skills, finance savings and advanced modern agricultural skills to boost bumper harvest in communities that will reduce levels of hunger. We do this to empower vulnerable communities to generate more income and sustain their families by engaging themselves into small businesses.
Legal Justice
We help vulnerable abused children in rural communities to learn procedures and report cases to Victim Support Unit, DEC and courts of law with the help of Social Welfare and GBV offices.
OUR PARTNERS
Lubasi Children Alive Foundation is partnering with Survivors fighting against change as material resource listing, so that people can access more knowledge of child abuse and neglect. We are also using there materials to deliver information to our Zambian rural communities.
